If you want to liven up your complexion with a nice luminous glow, mix in a small amount of liquid luminizer with your foundation. Since you will be putting this on your face, make sure that you use a clean surface. You can use a cosmetics plate and mix is with a spatula or you can also use the back of your hand and your finger but only if you’ve taken special care to clean and dry them right before.
In this picture I’m using Revlon ColorStay foundation with Benefit High Beam which is a very pale pink, but you can also use other colored luminizers to your taste. A good ratio for this mixture is 1 part luminizer to 5 or 6 parts foundation when you eyeball it, although you might need to adjust this to more if your have dry or dull skin and less if you have oily skin.
As you can see, the foundation hardly looks any different (which is good because if you can visibly see the luminizer you’ll end up with a bad case of the sparkles).
I use this trick a lot especially on date nights and during the winter when my skin tends to look dull. I also use this when my skin starts to dry out with seasonal weather because it makes the foundation I use (Revlon ColorStay Combo/Oily) less likely to cling to dry spots.
